Madalo's Story

Meet Madalo — an ambitious 11 year old in the Kabuzi Village of Malawi. Her family often faces extreme food insecurity. Fortunately, she attends a school that offers both a consistent meal and a chance for Madalo to achieve her dreams.

Meet Robert and Emily — siblings and members of the Hoopa Valley Tribe in Hoopa Valley, CA. Together with their family and community, Robert and Emily’s incorporate both culturally traditional and sustainable food ways daily, in homage to the land and their ancestors.
